  2. Only thing that bothers me is that other coworkers think I should feel bruised by my friend's rise in the ranks. I hate small-minded folks.

  4. @lchow Yow! A zinger I deserved!
  5. @Busymom Nothing so exciting. Actually, I was hunting for a Snapple. Their Raspberry Iced Tea interests me strangely...
  6. So...where was I?
  7. Tired. Bed. Can't sleep. Family coming home tomorrow. They've been gone 2 weeks, Feels like the night before Christmas. God I missed them.
  8. Anyway, sorry i haven't been around. I miss anything, besides Twitter being down?

  11. Actually, disgustingly, first thing I did with my newfound freedom was dig out my honey-do list. Hung a towel rod this AM. After lunch?
  12. Wife and kids have gone to Ohio for 10 days. Let the wild rumpus begin!
  13. BTW, Artlad has officially given up Tweeting. When you're 9, you're only willing to see the stupid whale twice.
  14. Yeah, I guess it is. So, I miss anything, aside from Twitter being down?
  15. This is the first time in five attempts that I've tried to Tweet and been able to get through. Or is it?
  16. Jeebus, maybe I should just knock this off and write a blog post. Or go to bed.
  17. The kids, of course, are all sound asleep, faces unwrinkled, untroubled masks of bliss. Like mine should be.

  19. Well, not freaked, just...not wanting this kid to wake up and have no grown-up respond if he needs one. So I'm awake. Am such a freak.
  20. Thomas hosting his first sleep-over tonight. What took so long? Now I'm freaked about being in charge of someone else's kid for overnight.
