  1. *yawn and stretch* Mmm, that was a good nap.
  2. Free from class for a full two weeks! Time for a celebratory nap.
  3. @peachylinz I used to wait for it to come on after America's Funniest Home Videos. Such a great show. And my first into to The Beatles.
  4. @Doris_Egan Russian? Are you headed to the motherland? I was there a year & a half ago, it's a fantastic land of juxtapositions and wonder.
  5. @peachylinz Your knowledge of Life Goes On is solid proof of how you & I are much older than many of these lovelies. That was my FAVE show.
  6. @enigma731 ....... I got nothin'. Fail. All I remember us talking about repeatedly is Jordan/Cox and their rings.
  7. @enigma731 Dude, I asked you to clarify what you meant by "best!" You didn't ever clarify, so - nyeh.
  8. @enigma731 it depends if you're talking best comedy or romance or what. I always say My Soul on Fire is best, but that's for the romance.
  9. And now we've crossed into Piaget's cognitive theory of development, which I just covered in Lifespan. Therefore, do not want to read/study.
  10. @kaitmaree Ooooooh, YOU HAZ A TIGER!
  11. WHY IS THIS CHAPTER SO LONG? I still have 2 more to get through. Not that isn't interesting, but seriously now. Enough with the length.
  12. @vitawash yeah it'd be more focused on the subculture, the stereotypes surrounding it, it's role in shaping identity, etc. Broad discussion.
  13. @vitawash cool, thanks, I'm actually starting my research for published studies and journal articles tomorrow. I'll Google him for sure.
  14. Oh look, an entire section on group networks in cyberspace. See? Fandom subculture is a totally legit sociological study. Intrigue abounds.
  15. @enigma731 I hate you.
  16. Am very seriously considering doing my research paper on the universal fandom subculture. Not just TV, but movies, comics, etc. Fascinating.
  17. @enigma731 Don't you blank-stare at me, woman! THAT'S WHAT THE BOOK SAYS.
  18. @kaitmaree HAVE A FABULOUS TIME!
  19. "The survivors on Lost have little to do but establish emotional intimacy..." - I wonder if the text author is a Jater or a Skater.
  20. My sociology text just used an entire paragraph on Lost to explain the difference of social crowds vs. groups (@CarltonCuse @therealdamon).
