  1. BTW, I apologize in advance for my congestion in this episode.
  2. Writing tonight - 1100+ words. In the form of GSG 031 Super Powers. Editing now. It'll be up on the server shortly. geeksurvivalguide.org
  3. Okay, one more horror/western mashup title - High Moon. That's it, I'm done.
  4. @mightymur is right - ideas are EASY. Writing is hard. Getting to BICHOK is hard.
  5. @brandg Just look at Louis L'amour titles, they sound like mashups. Ride the Dark Trail? Iron Marshal (steampunk western!) The Day Breakers?
  6. .@RandyTayler I blame you for not being able to get zombie western ideas out of my head. I'm just sayin'.
  7. dagnabit. Muse keeps throwing titles at me. I mean, they write themselves. (un)Deadwood. Quick and the Undead. Last Stand at Zombie Creek.
  8. @PhilipCarroll Sounds like fun, actually.
  9. @JeffreyHite Absolutely.
  10. @choochus ... and from I MUST BE WRITING TO... I *AM* WRITING.
  11. @choochus ... WinterNoir, Untitled Pirate Dragon Project... A lot of things I want to write. Got 2 get from ISBW to I MUST BE WRITING...
  12. @choochus I started counting them last night. Right now they include: NaNoWriMoEdit, Prodigals, Scions, SwampDragonBlues, Mageflight...
  13. @JeffreyHite Actually, the prompt at the end of writingexcuses.com was to combine horror/western in a way that made it not obvious.
  14. @JeffreyHite So, maybe that's your next writing prompt.
  15. Now I'm totally riffing in my head off "The Wild Bunch."
  16. @encaf1 I see your point. Editors would see it as limiting the audience big time. Then again maybe it's the next step from urban fantasy.
  17. What if the best/most successful gunslingers in history were werewolves - they get shot, but don't die b/c no1 uses silver bullets?
  18. @encaf1 And it would make the Lone Ranger's choice of silver bullets more logical if there were werewolves/vampires running around.
  19. @encaf1 Yeah, I was just listening to it. Personally, I'd like to see something like that - Old West is a great setting for a zombie story.
  20. Wait a second... writingexcuses.com is claiming that horror and western are unappealing to editors. What about something like Deadlands?
