  1. In Bristol, VA en route to Knoxville for the week. They have 3G here. B'burg must really be a backwater…
  2. Context: CNN has moonwalk-doubters as the top headline today. What a bunch of hacks.
  3. RT @gruber Next, on CNN: Is the Earth really round? Some critics say no.
  4. @balister Rumor holds that some *other* carriers have 3G in tiny villages such as Roanoke.
  5. @cphelps I do find the slideshows funny, when I manage to open them on my laptop and click them ten times...
  6. @Medley I have to tell you that this is not atypical. Worst nights make kids so tired that they sleep...
  7. @balister I think that's what AT&T uses on some of their EDGE cell sites in Blacksburg.
  8. @Medley I'm sure it is teeth. I just get frustrated that by the time you have direct evidence (when they break the surface), it's over.
  9. @whetstone_ Got the dead pet thing covered here, too, but I'm afraid I can't compete with you on the rest. Still a crappy week, though. :-(
  10. @genehack Ah! New shoelaces! So that's what I've been missing!
  11. @sfahmy Most of the HUDs that I've seen (airplanes, cars) don't extract any info from the scene. They just overlay information on it.
  12. @sfahmy Might be good to get a job first…. :-P
  13. My body has developed a defense mechanism where I get a bad headache when I don't get enough sleep. It's in full force this morning. #fb
  14. @Medley Not our worst ever, but some pretty bad ones here, too. I guess we'll blame teething, too.
  15. @sfahmy Agreed. But it's kindof Minority Report-ish. I need a good HUD for my life. It might need to show more than subway locations, tho.
  16. @jenbeee Right. And while the review may or may not be correct in its speculations, I feel confident that it has missed the point.
  17. @sfahmy Hadn't thought about the need for compass; too bad. I thought their London app was already out, though.
  18. @sfahmy There are good big airports. Bad experiences at big ones, though. The problem is easy at little ones: One plane, one belt. :-)
  19. @sfahmy Have you tried the Nearest Tube iPhone app? DF linked to a video of their new NYC Subway app. Looks amazing.
  20. @sfahmy I've had much more trouble getting my luggage at big airports in the US. The little ones are usually fast.
