  1. ⌃F7 (remember to hold fn on a laptop) to enable tabbing through all control elements (i.e. Mail's from and signature fields).
  2. To save Safari's window orientation, i.e. position and size, hold shift and close Safari via the red close gem.
  3. To open a folder in a new finder window: hold ⌘ and double click the folder.
  4. In Safari 3, restore the previous session from the menu: History -> Reopen All Windows From Last Session
  5. In Safari 3, highlight/select the word or phrase you want to search for, press ⌘e then ⌘g to search for that particular term.
  6. ⌃[shift]+w to close a window with multiple tabs
  7. Holding down ⌘ while dragging icons on your desktop automatically aligns the icon (to other icons) when you drop it.
  8. ⌘⌥⌃< or > to change the contrast (note this is *not* the brightness)
  9. # Hold ⌥ within text boxes to switch column select mode.
  10. For fast quoting, select the text in the app, say Safari, and drag it down to Mail and it will compose a new mail with the text.
  11. To page up and down *and* have the cursor follow: hold down ⌃ while paging up and down.
  12. Can't eject a disk: open /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/eject.menu, this will usually force the eject.
  13. ⌘ click the icon in the title bar of any app to see it's full location.
  14. Address Book: select a name and hold down ⌥ to quickly see which groups they are part of.
  15. Shutdown: ⌘⌥⌃eject
  16. Use the Grab app (in Utilities) for far more options when screen grabbing.
  17. Clean your desktop keyboard: with a bit of pressure the keys just pop right out, and easily snap back in.
  18. Remove unwanted auto-complete email addresses when composing emails, open 'Window' menu, 'Previous Recipients', remove the unwanted address

  20. To create a link in an email, select the text for the link, open the edit menu, and select 'Add Hyperlink...'
