  1. @redinger I've also seen it stated as "The problem with quick and dirty is that the dirty remains long after the quick is forgotten".
  2. Does anyone know of a tool for visualizing Subversion branches and merges, a la GitHub's network graphs?
  3. Just upgraded the HDD in my MacBook and, knock wood, it seems to have gone off without a hitch.
  4. "Rodents of unusual size? I don't think they exist." Watching TPB on Bravo.
  5. Just finished watching the "Lost" season finale. Somebody set us up the bomb.
  6. They ought to offer a 2-for-1 special for this kind of upgrade.
  7. Just realized that if I'm going to order a bigger HD for the notebook, I also need to order a higher capacity backup drive to go with it.
  8. Need some info/recommendations on those ceiling-mounted projectors for displaying slideshows/powerpoint/etc. Brands/models/reviews?
  9. @jm I agree on the waste of time part, but who is it that you think is deflecting (and from what)?
  10. @jm The issue is not that Nancy knew about the torture, but the fact that she denied she knew (and has now been caught in the lie), no?
  11. Having sympathy pains for this guy whose demo isn't working, and glad it's not me this time.
  12. Didn't sleep well at all last night. Also had my first experience driving in Fairfax Co. rush hour traffic. Other than that, it's all good.
  13. If you're ever checking in to a Comfort Inn, and they tell you you've been upgraded to a "jacuzzi" room, well, don't get your hopes up.
  14. "Respectful Yo Mama Jokes" at McSweeney's. http://www.mcsweeneys.net/2...
  15. @jamesbritt Whoops! Sorry for the spoiler.
  16. Glad Joan won, but objectively speaking, Annie was the better player. #celebrityapprentice
  17. @joekutner Saw your earlier tweet to @bryanp out of context and wondered what TM referred to. "Transcendental Meditation" would fit, e.g.
  18. @duwanis Huh. Very strange, I've not experienced that in the past year or so of using git-svn pretty regularly.
  19. @duwanis Were they svn:externals folders? Not sure if git-svn handles that yet. I've also noticed that it tends to ignore empty folders.
  20. @duwanis git-svn works great for me. I installed on OS X via MacPorts. What OS are you using that required you to install from source?
