  2. Spoke to Philly chamber of commerce this morning, met with Elizabeth Birch and had dinner with George Chavel, CEO Sodexo, in MD tonight.
  3. Benchmark debrief for Feeding America in Las Vegas.
  4. Keynoted meeting of the National Black Troopers Coalition - about 100 NJ Troopers there - saluted first Black woman trooper, Sharon McDonald
  5. Bennett College trustee meeting last weekend - broke ground on a new building - finances never looked better - I chair Audit, so I know.
  6. Met with AT&T executive Cathy Martine and Rutgers Future Scholars fund raising committee last week.
  7. Not impressed w President Obama's HRC speech - where's the deadline? He gave the haters ammunition and LGBT service people take the heat.
  8. Presented to the top brass of the New Jersey State Police - serious group, but interestingly open minded. Also on Michel Martin's NPR show.
  9. In DC, met with Michel Martin at NPR and am receiving the HerMANO award from MANA - Alma Riojas's organization.
  10. In Atlanta to speak to senior execs and execs with "high potential" at Cox Communications - on the role of diversity and innovation.
  11. Had my first nominating committee meeting at Rutgers last night. Considering a trustee's term is 6 years, it's important work.
  12. Today I'm in Dallas, visiting AT&T for a benchmarking debrief and other meetings including their CEO.
  13. Also met with Kodak CDO, Essie Calhoun. Essie has been a steadfast supporter of DiversityInc - backed by their CEO, Antonio Perez.
  14. Visited Kodak yesterday and spoke to a joint meeting of their Hispanic and Black ERGs - about 180 people at dinner. Kodak people are great!h
  15. Also had a very pleasant meeting with Traveler's CDO, Joelle Hayes. Traveler's was gracious enough to sponsor the PRIMER breakfast.
  16. Catching up: Had a great PRIMER meeting in Hartford last week. Saw my good friend Raymond Arroyo, CDO Aetna.
  17. Spoke at Mercer County Community College (for their speakers series). Radio interview with Rachel Katz, WWFM, I knew her from Bloomberg.
  18. Had a great interview with Ellen Lampert, who heads up the Merck Foundation. We discussed Merck's $750K donation to Rutgers Future Scholars.
  19. Cynthia Miller was my last boss while I was on active duty in the Navy. She's wonderful: I'll always be in awe of her leadership ability.
  20. Also had breakfast with State Dept. CDO John Robinson, ODNI's Pat Taylor and Cynthia Miller. True thought leaders - and really nice people.
