  1. Alfresco 3.2 Webinar happening now, no registration required: http://alfresco.acrobat.com...
  2. @irina_guseva BTW, you might get a kick of these aerobatic videos: http://bit.ly/UdzNf and http://bit.ly/13T9ny
  3. @irina_guseva Flying was easy, working the radio was harder. ;)
  4. @irina_guseva The DA40 is sweet! Before I couldn't afford them anymore, I logged 60+ training hours on a 172.
  5. @irina_guseva Just remember to trim and keep pressure on the right rudder and you'll be good to go...
  6. @Shudh It's not possible to host #Alfresco on #AppEngine, not worth trying. It *is* possible, however, to run it on #EC2 or #GoGrid.
  7. Try a c1.medium... Good bang for the buck. If you do go for a large instance, then go 64-bit all the way for OS, DB, JVM, etc.
  8. @technoweenie Try Aptana Cloud. http://aptana.com
  9. @wattersjames Yes, that's bothersome. But I'll take them at their word (for now) that Google Apps Standard will remain free.
  10. @ringlerun Small #EC2 instances have slower CPU and disk IO. My #Alfresco instances take 10+ mins to start. Once started, they run fine.
  11. @mjasay @wattersjames TechCrunch updated the article. Google made a mistake.
  12. @ringlerun Startup times depends on hardware, memory, JDK and other factors. I've seen startups over 10 minutes, but usually it's about 2-4.
  13. Download the non-expiring @ContentCircles client with #Alfresco integration from http://contentcircles.com
  14. @ringlerun What's wrong with your #Alfresco server?
  15. @toddogasawara After starting Tomcat monitor alfresco.log and access server on http://localhost:8080/alfresco
  16. @toddogasawara #Alfresco defaults to an in-memory Java DB for basic non-prod testing it should work after install. Run 'alfresco.sh start'
  17. @toddogasawara You just need to download the MySQL JDBC driver and configure it as per: http://is.gd/1qbl6
  18. @nfortlage In short, #Alfresco Enterprise is certified, supported and has certain features not in Community such as clustering, Oracle, etc.
  19. @nfortlage The intent of #Alfresco Labs (renamed "Community") is roughly equivalent to Fedora but has more in common with MySQL Community
  20. @marianov That's a question better answered by @uzquiano
