  10. How do people have time to Tweet, FB, Linkedin, blog and travel to meetings? I must be disorganized spending too much time with clients?
  11. In office on Saturday meeting with tax client. IRS wants over 100K; threats galore. Two new clients with domistic matters. Real busy.
  12. Only 22.3% of all the audits in 2008 were conducted by agents or examiners. So, snail mail audit is more likely. It pays to keep records.
  13. What are the chances IRS will audit you? For 2008 about 1.0% of all individual returns were audited, some more difficult than others.
  14. @mariloutheclerk Yes rights extinguished after adoption, but suppose "adoption" was not completed or fraudently induced?
  15. Started my solo practice last summer. Economy? Bad time to start new business? Am I going down? Don't think so. Any new solos teetering?.

  18. Look for increased in IRS enforcement/audits/examinations in future. IRS is hiring more attorneys and agents.
