  1. sprayed water all over the kitchen and dribbled toothpaste down her top. A clumsy morning so far.
  2. is pissed off. A case of the Mondays.
  3. tried working on the balcony but it's too bright for my silly reflective screen. The world was steaming in the sun.
  4. is tired of being inspiration for the randy but nadless cat. He judders away on me until thrown off, then licks himself & returns for more.
  5. had an ace bonfire night - was very impressed by Mrs @davidsmalley's willingness to face all the steps in the garden while very pregnant!
  6. thinks the kid @johnleach is playing on guitar hero/xbox live has forgotten he/she has plugged in a microphone. lots of tone-deaf singing.
  7. loved how the world dripped and steamed and shined after the rain this morning.
  8. had to get up early because our bed was being delivered - it's lovely but seems really, really high after sleeping on the floor for a month.
  9. had a frickin' awesome curry at omars with @johnleach.
  10. was surprised to wake up to find the babbling brook at the bottom of the garden has become a full-on roaring river! http://bit.ly/4xuhLW
  11. met our lovely next-door-but-one neighbours properly for the first time last night - they brought us a welcome-to-the-neighbourhood cake!
  12. is playing guitar hero with mum and dad - their first time. Dad got 84% on livin on a prayer, mum 89% on la bamba - she's gloating :)
  13. had a fun Leeds Ruby Thing but really, really should have peed before leaving the pub.
  14. is sat on the balcony in the sun, with a giant cat on her knee and her laptop very precariously balanced on the arm of a folding chair.
  15. realises that staring-into-space-thinking and staring-into-space-doing-nothing must look quite alike to an outside observer.
  16. says "mmm, the olive tree..."
  17. @strowger78 ooh, what did you have? did you have the silly deep fried marshmallows for dessert? ;)
  18. was visited by Katherine & 5-week-old-today Joe. J was perturbed by the dated decor, lots of "where have you brought me, mother?" chuntering
  19. and @johnleach follow links on my Geocities page to our first joint project and our first blogs, then (2000/1) quaintly called "Author Logs"
  20. explores her old Geocities site on the WayBack Machine. It was 2 years old at the time of the first snapshot. Scarily like today's XKCD.
