  1. That's what thinking for ourselves does: it makes us work to identify what we truly believe instead of accepting inherited ideas. #critthink
  2. We have to dismantle our conventional beliefs, hold the arguments up to the light, examine them, then reassemble them w/ new understanding.
  3. Cognitive dissonance hurts. Negotiating what you've always thought w/ competing new information can be very distressing. But it's vital.
  4. Critical thinking breaks thru the layers: we can figure out why we believe what we believe. Asking questions helps us make our beliefs ours.
  5. I never mean any harm; however, I always mean to encourage--& sometimes to incite--critical thinking. And thinking can be very painful.
  6. Some of my best friends are meteorologists. I love them in spite of it tho.
  7. @rustymk2 why she gotta be a hoe tho? And shake it? For real?
  8. Wha? What'd I do? RT @AbrahamicSon: @londyjamel BAAHAHAHAHHAAA!!!
  9. I'm not mocking anyone, I'm just trying to test the logic of y/our arguments. & enjoying it immensely. Hm. Maybe I am mocking you then lol
  10. Right?
  11. See, divining the weather & adultery are both abominations. So, supporting & accepting the sin of weather- & whoremongers is plain ungodly.
  12. I think they should be able to do it, but only behind closed doors. I shouldn't hafta look @ him flaunting his "meteorology" in my face.
  13. What I want to know is what exactly is your stance on meteorology. Should meteorologists be allowed to practice their witchcraft publicly?
  14. Do you "believe in" weather forecasting? Will you boycott your local news for supporting & endorsing the acts of the abominable weatherman?
  15. Once upon a time, meteorology was divination--& divination is an abomination. So, what changed? & what shall we do about the weatherman?
  16. So far, still haven't moved an inch, a centimeter, a micron toward getting my ice cream. I wonder if I'm ill. I must be ill. #butterpecan
  17. I really can't stand being petted by strangers. Or having to hold a press conf in the gas station abt how I shampoo. Been awhile for that.
  18. Daytoday, a fishtail braid or whatever negro-hontas look we're feeling will work. Hoping folx don't start up getting grabby as it grows.
  19. I started locking in 04 w/ abt an inch of hair. Thinking I'd trim my lox when they got in my way. Never thought I'd tolerate hair this long.
  20. After a childhood of long hair & barrettes & balls, I cut my hair in my teens. Then went natural & rocked a fade. Swore off long hair.
