  8. Board is discussing partnering with Children's Defense Fund on a program to get more uninsured kids on medicade or CHIP.
  9. Duron: Ideally we'd like to have 100 percent of our children insured.

  11. Howard says parent meetings should include other UIL activities, not just athletics.
  12. Duron: Some districts don't have any high school boundaries at all, so that's an option for us.
  13. Any Fox Tech student will get to transfer to another SAISD school during a narrow window, including students who aren't in UIL activities.
  14. Duron: We'll have a seperate meeting for the band, because they are a little bit different.
  15. There's a specific window of time when students can do this.
  16. Athletes will have an opportunity to transfer to other schools and remain eligible to play. This will be explained at the Wed. meeting.

  20. Football is the only Fox Tech sport ending after this school year.
