  1. SO damn hot I swam for the first time in YEARS. In an old lady swimsuit that looks like I could have very well been off to play tennis.

  5. In Socorro. County Fair in September has a kiss-a-pig contest.
  6. Real, live dogs on the weather report in Albuquerque.
  7. Hot air balloons, Turquoise Trail, Tune-Up Cafe & Georgia O'Keeffe. Taos next.
  8. Can't help but say it - got my kicks on Route 66 today.
  9. I found a Dia de los Muertos doll that looks like Carol Channing.

  13. THEN tan snotty little pilot said, 'You can't go anywhere without us.'
  14. At front of security line, had to let an Air Canada flight crew ahead of me. Heard same 'we'll be fast' joke about a dozen times.
  15. My iPod was supposedly corrupted...but is apparently fine now. Hooray!
