  2. Continue to be needy for approval.
  3. Why do I find Tough Love such a fascinating show? I'm back for season two
  4. Never noticed the "listed" link on twitter. When did that happen? I have ten listed. Twitter just finds more and more ways to micro life.
  5. After "retiring" from web life a year ago, it's totally behind me. I refer most often to PW reviews rather than anything I did at AAR.
  6. Amazing what you can learn from romance novels: Bears have prehensile lips.
  7. @Patti_OShea I've de-registered it, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and called tech support. Still can't get it to work.
  8. @Patti_OShea Okay...I did it. I don't know if the links will work as they may be tied to my Kindle account, but hopefully so.
  9. @Patti_OShea I doubt it was that because I use firefox as well. Let me send you a FB email detailing how to do it.
  10. @Patti_OShea Is it a browser thing?
  11. Tried to install Kindle for PC yesterday...cannot make it work. Grrr.
  12. My QVC order has shipped...could NOT help myself when faced with 20 piece BE eye collection as it included retired shades. Sorry, DH.
  13. It's so frustrating that in Plano, TX it's impossible to sell Middlesex. Still, did convince a reader to try Christopher Moore. Baby steps.
  14. A Barbara Samuel tweet reminds me - I hand-sold Coehlo's Fifth Mountain Fri night, along with JD Robb's first two, & last copy of Soulless.
  15. @ElizabethHoyt Feel better...turn off your computer and take a nap!
  16. Participating on FB on a month-long gratitude project courtesy of Susan Wiggs. Finding it helpful to focus on SOMETHING positive daily.
  17. Kindred in Death. May be the weakest "family" book in the series but as the story progressed, riveting suspense. Not really recommendable.
  18. Finding Kindred in Death more than a little dry; missing the cameraderie, so watching TiVo'd "V" instead.
  19. Wondering about the lawsuit against B&N for Nook. The devices LOOK similar, but believe my employer is on the up an up.
  20. "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail..." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
