  1. If you are writing [Asynchronous] test and deriving from SilverlightTest your are not writing a unit test, but an integration one.
  2. @hristo_deshev I think you like the idea behind ICustomTypeDescriptor, not the implementation including 12 methods to implement.
  3. The "legacy" of WinForms: IListSource, IBindingList, ITypedList, ICustomTypeDescriptor, DataSet, DataTable. Did I miss something?
  4. No more Popfly. http://bit.ly/X5NQE #popfly
  5. @Pete_Brown Yep. That is shared behavior. You have an view model objects that should be observable.
  6. @Pete_Brown My suggestion is to use inheritance for shared behavior, and use functional composition for common code.
  7. "THE WAY to manage complexity is through composition" Brian Beckman.
  8. @varchev Inheritance is a hammer, but composition is like a brick - the main building block.
  9. @Pete_Brown I think those days are gone, aren't they. Inheritance is fine when you want polymorphisms, not when building complex systems.
  10. Composition over inheritance. Period.
  11. All your baseless merges belong to TFS.
  12. The future of event-based and asynchronous programming for .NET: Reactive Framework by the father of LINQ Erik Meijer. http://bit.ly/zBZi5
  13. The holy trinity installed: Silverlight 3, Blend 3, RIA Services. I wish all the installers were like the Blend one. Kudos to all involved.
  14. See the light Silverlight application works only with English locale. #epic #fail http://vepexp.microsoft.com...
  15. Retweeting @scottgu: Silverlight 3 launches today - I'll blog more details shortly once all sites are updated with content and bits.
  16. Do you want in-memory IQueryable support in XBAP? Vote here: http://bit.ly/G4kHw
  17. @hristo_deshev You have been "wearing" it for quite some time. It is just now physically on your hand ;)
  18. Twitter is so quiet during the weekends.
  19. @unclebobmartin If I write a function with a very long line I can still win the price. I think we should limit the method body to tokens.
