  1. Blazing through the book ordering tools! Next week's a short week, and I want to make sure everybody's reading needs are met. #pittsburgh
  2. @sharon370 That was really awesome! Thanks for posting it!
  3. @sewickleypublib That's AWESOME! Hope it goes well!
  4. @wawoodworth Gotta love serendipity!
  5. Now, if only the state of PA would give us more info about the fate of POWER library!
  6. On the bright side, more database marketing pieces, w00t.
  7. However, as I release a thing, a new thing glides in. This is a lovely, if somewhat exasperating, example of equilibrium in action.
  8. In between, valiantly trying to get things off my desk.
  9. Came in early for a meeting, staying late tonight because it's night shift...
  10. @library_chan eeeek - good luck with that....
  11. Have had 3 amazing co-worker conversations today that resulted in good ideas and plans for action.
  12. Still trying to get used to the idea that walking around and talking to people really is work.
  13. @Arkascha I figured I wasn't alone in that, but thank you for saying so out loud. :)
  14. Now, you go rock out, too. :) http://www.youtube.com/watc...
  15. Even when things about it don't make me HAPPY, it always makes me JOYFUL. And that has made all the difference.
  16. Still riding post-presentation high, feeling very grateful. Librarianship is the best job on the planet, despite everything.
  17. And yet, we soldier on. I'll also have an announcement on Friday about an experiment I'm conducting next week.
  18. I've also been rocking out and composing an Alchemy post about work and play. Ironically, I am too busy with other work to finish it.
  19. I've been: giving presentations (solo and tag-team), answering reference questions, buying books, trialing databases, compiling stats.
  20. The full-court press of librarianship temporarily abates long enough for me to wave hello at tweeps. Hello, tweeps!
