  1. RT@csmith2471-I like to think of shopping as a vitamin requirement-like daily dose of dark choc, shoes are monthly dose of needed endorphins
  2. I want to buy some shoes today! Of all of the "make me feel better" addictions to have -- this one is not too bad :-p Right?
  3. @kentrod Can you see how I read in the statement? That the interpretation of the statement could be ambiguous?
  4. @kentrod Why be patronizing by saying "read what I said again. Slowly." I asked your intent because of the medium of Twitter.
  5. @justinterbeek Intent of the message is unknown -- agreed. I'll ask @kentrod -- Were u equating criminals to gay citizens tongue in cheek?
  6. I found the equivocation of RT @kentrod "If jailed criminals are allowed to marry why can't law abiding gay citizens?" offensive.
  7. @kentrod For those out there I did *not* post what @kenrod attributed to me as a RT - "Best pro-gay marriage argument..."
  8. @kentrod RT "If jailed criminals are allowed to marry why can't law abiding gay citizens?" Equating criminals to gay citizens is offensive.
  9. @kentrod The US, & CA, are Representative Democracies. Officials are elected to make *proper* decisions - not to be parrots of the majority.
  10. @alvarep The *will of the people* is fallible and prone to making illogical choices, e.g racial segregation was once the will of the people.
  11. @kentrod Though upholding Prop * may* be technically correct from a legal perspective it is *not* morally correct to allow discrimination.
  12. @kentrod e.g.- If the will of the people was to rescind the right of men to vote should the court have upheld that as well?
  13. @kentrod The will of the people is not always correct. One of the Courts obligations is to try and protect the citizen's from themselves.
  14. Prop 8 is blatant discrimination based upon gender (male AND female) -- plus sexual orientation.
  15. Ok -- I have to say it... The State of California's Supreme Court has made a mistake in upholding Prop 8.
  16. @CaronsBeachHs Hehe -- I think the new Kirk is yummy too! Spock (aka Sylar) is easy on the eyes as well :-)
  17. Saw Star Trek -- it was fun! Can't help but think that the movie was made so they could make 10 more with the new actors. Wash-rinse-repeat!
  18. Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone enjoys! :-)
  19. Or any favorite BBQ recommendations? Mac 'n Cheese with Smoky Bacon? German Potato Salad with Bacon? Bacon with Bacon? :-p
  20. Any Memorial Day drink recommendations? Beside my standard of PBR for BBQ on a hot and lazy holiday... Opps it won't be hot in SF ;-)
