  1. @jacques perhaps the carrier pigeon stopped for lunch and a nap.
  2. I guess I need to come up with a new name for my progeny. Calling them my kids gets me lots of spam followers. Yo! Read before follow. WTF?
  3. My kids don't seem to understand that turkey and sauerkraut go together. Where did I go wrong?
  4. Preparing a feast for the kids.
  5. The local public TV is having a doo wop orgy tonight. It's keeping me up past my bed time. Should I wait up for the Flamingos?
  6. The latest set of instructions in the DW book didn't even work. WTF? This semester won't end fast enough. Next time, DW gets squeezed…a lot.
  7. @jacques The 500 errors seem to have vanished. @lderezinski thinks maybe Filip fixed something. Or perhaps they self healed.
  8. @schussman @mrl @philipj my 500 errors seem to be a thing of the past. Never saw any sign of them on monpage. Weird.
  9. @schussman @mrl @philipj Nice to know I'm not alone. Looks like my static sites are ok, and the TxP, WP, and php ones borked. Ticket filed.
  10. Is there anything one can do about a 500 error on shared other than harass the Joyfolk? It's bookMarkR.us on tamalpais.
  11. @gtcaz Oh, I agree. I just thought it was a tad funny at the time.
  12. @andrewbarnett I got half decent at vi when I was taking a shell scripting class, but after class ended, I had no unix access…until TxD.
  13. @SimPhone Thanks, I figured it was something like that, but Unix book wasn't handy. I found a work around, but will remember next time.
  14. @jacques @andrewbarnett I guess I must have learned that once upon a time. Too lazy to find my Intro to Unix. Writing note on vi cheat sheet
  15. @jacques Yeah, on tamalpais. I couldn't find the .ssh dir via PuTTY; had to ExpanDrive through Windoz Explorer to get name and content right
  16. Can anyone explain why "ls -l" or "cd .ssh" don't work for finding ".ssh/known_hosts", but "vi .ssh/known_hosts" works? I'm on PuTTY.
  17. @jacques I have a little vi Editor Cheat Sheet right next to me. About all I remember is 'i' and 'x', the hjkl navigation; then [esc] :wq
  18. Kind of cute take on atheism: http://ping.fm/hhseR
  19. As nearly as I can tell, I've got my back-up scripts working on the new @strongspace. The main problem was remembering enough vi for editing
  20. Oooh...I now have some Google Wave invites if anyone is interested. I feel special for a change.
