@ I got half decent at vi when I was taking a shell scripting class, but after class ended, I had no unix access…until TxD.

@ Thanks, I figured it was something like that, but Unix book wasn't handy. I found a work around, but will remember next time.

@ Yeah, on tamalpais. I couldn't find the .ssh dir via PuTTY; had to ExpanDrive through Windoz Explorer to get name and content right

Can anyone explain why "ls -l" or "cd .ssh" don't work for finding ".ssh/known_hosts", but "vi .ssh/known_hosts" works? I'm on PuTTY.
