  1. Since I was up I decided to drive to Target and buy The Dark Knight for $3.99. I was the only person in the checkout line with an LCD TV.
  2. @wisequark I am happy with it, but it is definitely a 1.0. I have some perf and animation improvements we are testing right now.
  3. @bengarney Sure, but don't write blog posts rationalizing how it isn't using a private API.
  4. How do people manage to convince themselves that the API they want to use isn't private, just "undocumented" !?!
  5. @uliwitness I guess thats nice for people not using git ;-)
  6. @wooster It is not just what a webapp can do... their toolchains suck. As much as I yell about Xcode, it is way beyond Dashcode and Bespin.
  7. @ericbrunstad Designing a good API for an XML parser is nothing like designing a good UI, and neither imply anything about code quality.
  8. @ericbrunstad I disagree with your assumptions. I think you are conflating a lot of related things. UI != Framework != Language != Runtime.
  9. @ericbrunstad I think it is more that you are greatly underestimating the quality of opensource code. Most good projects are very selective.
  10. @ericbrunstad I completely disagree, having worked both at large companies (Apple in particular) and on opensource code.
  11. @rentzsch I think the point is that sometimes frameworks are competitive advantages, just like app code.
  12. @mdhughes For me so far it is that I have been waiting over a week for my invite, with no status updates. Just like the app store ;-)
  13. @janl Apple's SSDs are way better than HDs, but they are awful compared to Intel or Indilinx based drives.
  14. @feorlen If only you were using Vista Ultimate x64, that can generate 1.6 billion dialogs an hour!
  15. Today started off being such a nice day...
  16. Our client's app has been in extended review with no feedback for 2 months, and a competitor's *WEBSITE* is featured in the new iPhone ad.
  17. @jasoncornwell If only there wasn't always at least a ~2 hour wait for a take out order...
  18. @ctp It was supposed to be refitted for space, but design changes after Enterprise was built made that impractical.
  19. @rentzsch I have been using "temporal nexus" in a lot of my commit messages lately... I am working on an interesting codebase.
  20. @pmb777 I have the same NIMH charger, and I also recommend it.
