  1. @macgenie And that's what I hate most about having to work... I miss cool stuff like you at CapMac and SpellCatcher import and PB Pie... :-(
  2. @macmousecalls + @macgenie Sadly duty calls so I won't be at the CapMac meet tonight. I have to write 1,000 more words about apps. :-(
  3. @GlennF AeroPress: Love it. Use it every day. Take it with me when I travel. Easy to use and clean. Almost as good as an expensive machine.
  4. @mfraase Same as it ever was. Working on a book (Incredible iPhone Apps For Dummies), columns, reviews, and occasionally teaching at UT.
  5. @mfraase So I've got the iPod set to random and "Box of Rain" comes on. Made me think of you. How the hell are ya? What's new by you?
  6. Don't miss this week's thrilling Dr. Mac column in the Houston Chronicle: "An app for just about anything." http://tinyurl.com/ye8rpdc #fb
  7. @MacCarl I guess it is a surprise. Chicago Apple User Group (http://tinyurl.com/yhwk2hb) is hosting. No specific topic... Macs/iPhones/etc.
  8. Chicagoans: Hang out with me next Wednesday (11/4) from 7-8:30PM at the Apple Store @ 679 N. Michigan Av. Pizzaria Due after. (Yum!) #fb
  9. Still working on new book (Incredible iPhone Apps For Dummies); still listening to loud music. Feels like Groundhog Day. Again. #fb
  10. Last night's episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" made me laugh so hard I think I scared my wife. A very funny episode of a great show. #fb
  11. Still working on new book; still listening to loud rock music. Feels like Groundhog Day all over again... #fb
  12. @scstrr I'll buy almost anything for $0.99. "Alexander the Great" was a nice surprise -- I didn't know I liked Iron Maiden. :-)
  13. Working on a new book this week... and listening to loud rock music to get in the mood. :-) #fb
  14. Today in the Houston Chronicle... Dr. Mac: Time Machine delivers when you do your part. http://tinyurl.com/ykkagx5
  15. @pbooth OMG! I can't tell you how much I hate Office 07 for Windows... But I get a "hazardous duty bonus" whenever I teach it... really.
  16. I'm using Office 2007 for Windows (for a class I'm teaching) and I HATE IT. Sigh. At least it's XP and not Vista. #fb
  17. @markhhsp Thanks, Mark! How're things?
  18. This week my Dr. Mac column in the Houston Chronicle covers three apps that make Time Machine even better. http://tinyurl.com/yc7rq8v #fb
  19. RT @Pogue: Guy makes himself "invisible" by painting himself to blend in with whatever he's standing in front of... http://bit.ly/15EzKE #fb
  20. RT @TalkingMoose: "Nature abhors a vacuum"-Baruch Spinoza 1677. Also used as slogan for Acme Broom Company in 1678 Superbowl commercial. #fb
