  1. Huet Haut Lieu 2007 Vouvray last night completely changed from last time. Primary fruit aromas gone, minerality set in. Needs more time.

  8. A day at home today due to snow. The 'tasting room' has been refurbished and tiled this week. Time to get back to normal.

  17. Enjoyed Bird in Hand Riesling 2008 from the Clare Valley last night with kedgeree. The petrol notes worked well with the smoky fish.
  18. Major stress in this house. Brevet blanc on Thursday and Friday. Much work required by daughter!
  19. @bkwineper Just off dry - not sure of exact residual but certainly not 'dry'. Real honey notes on the nose, nutty, toasty and rounded.
  20. ok things not going well - just burnt the first batch of devils on horseback! Starting again. Trying to multitask and failing!
