  1. Just received my first 'fan' email, not from my mother but from a sweet 9-year-old.
  2. Packing yet again - husband off on another business trip. It's like having a guest for the weekend.
  3. @bookwriter3 Sorry to hear about Louise - it's no comfort but at least her imagination lives on through her books.
  4. @viviennemorgain Yep, that sounds perfect!
  5. @ErinBer Oh wow - that really does dispense with a lot of the stereo-typing about inmates.
  6. @Ironwoodwind My sympathies! Another reason to stay living in Singapore - so cheap to have domestic help with cleaning etc.
  7. @JohnnyMarshNet How is Brisvegas this fine morning, and yes, it is actually fine here in Singapore so far, but can't last.
  8. A relaxing Saturday doing the usual - breakfast down Orchard Road, book shopping and home to lay about reading.
  9. So much to do, so little time. Wish I could function late into the night but I'm usually brain dead by 9pm (9am according to husband)
  10. Yep, monsoon season is here. More rain this morning. Sun is out now so no excuse for gym other than new ones I can make up in next 30 mins.
  11. @JohnnyMarshNet Congratulations Kev & Ant - I see Dream Raider is now in bookstores in Australia just in time for Christmas shopping!
  12. I rave a lot about how much I love rain. Not so much now - completely drenched and miserable with it.
  13. @ErinBer No, wasn't me, Erin. I haven't sent any DMs.
  14. @CPatrickSchulze Thanks so much, and glad to be following you!
  15. Blog this week is of course about my time as Artist Liaison for John Boyne and John Ajvide Lindqvist at SWF09 http://bit.ly/2kpbQy
  16. Finished duties for Singapore Writer's Festival, so back to my kind of normal today.
  17. Big day ahead at Singapore Writer's Festival with John Avijde Lindqvist from Sweden, and Graveyard party tonight with Neil Gaiman.
  18. Thanks all for your concern. Thumb is still attached to hand and it looks like I'm going to live.
  19. Was super impressed with my new chef's knife until it sliced through my thumb last night.
  20. Getting ready for a bit of cardio. As I come up with each excuse why not to do it, I write it down then strike a bold line through it.
