  1. This one is pretty shy, but I've heard about those Florida ones being friendly.
  2. Since I like birds, I guess I shouldn't mind that I have crows feet on my face...
  3. Saw the Scrub Jay again yesterday. He must be making the rounds of feeders in the neighborhood. Will he keep this territory for winter?
  4. Just finished the first 4 willow screens. They look great and hide the neighbors concrete drive well. Gives my feeders a better backdrop too
  5. When you're up at 4:30 a.m. you get to see stuff like THREE big fat raccoons eating birdseed in your yard.
  6. Just got back from walking a 300 acre nearby ranch. They have tons of willow for my projects + I can walk there anytime. Made my day!!
  7. @DebtProofLiving With 11 kids it's hard! But the 2 kids home will receive gifts, other kids & all other fam, a Christmas letter & card.

  10. Just got back from a nice afternoon coffee & walk with Al, Maggie & our 3 mini dachshunds, Winnie, Barbie and Reina.
  11. Enjoying a sunny day in the 50's. Raked some, spruced up my bird ponds. Did a little birding. Yard full of Juncos, Blue Jays and chickadees.
  12. Heading out to do some local birding. A thought: If you could be any bird you wanted what would it be? Me? A Raven.
  13. Yesterdays Sharpie couldn't finish dove, came back & looked diligently for the rest of it's meal this A.M. But it was gone. Interesting!!
