  8. The fact is: the term "family" is so huge in gay culture precisely because so many of them have been rejected by their biological families.
  9. The fact is: tens of thousands of gay people were tortured & killed under Hitler. In some African nations today, they can be sent to prison.
  10. If we fail to recognize the Gay Community as a "people group," we miss their history that reveals why they are concerned about safety.
  11. I may no longer identify as gay, but I will forever identify "with" the real felt needs of the Gay Community. Safety is a REAL need for all.
  12. I know some straight men whose inner reaction to gay men is intense rage. To regulate such rage to prevent hateful "acts" is a GOOD thing!
  13. Opposing hate crime laws that ensure the physical safety of gay people gives the awful appearance that you stand for hate. No escaping it...
  14. When we feel bothered by the spiritual demand of enduring a sinner in their sin, let it remind us of the pain we caused Jesus on the Cross.
  15. For many gay teens, life can be fragile. We must follow the risen Savior who stooped low to prove HIS love for all of us - including them.
  16. Why yoke a gay teen with a choke that will kill his hope when we can invite that kid to come toward Jesus - along with the rest of sinners.
  17. The yoke of church culture is heavier than the humble, light yoke of Jesus Christ. When you feel judged, fall (or surrender) into Jesus.
  18. Imagine how mean-spirited "God" feels to a gay teen being stared down by an evangelical leader holding the keys to heaven's locked gate.
