  1. How long can we recoil from the dark shadows they cast?
  2. Though both @Lucy_Swann and I sense that's not entirely the case. For in the West those red eyes of @VegasWalkinDude still glow.
  3. So here I am at the doorstep of a whole new world with a woman who loves me for who I am, not what I can get her. Happy ending? Perhaps.
  4. No. That Larry I left behind in the tent with Rita.
  5. To be honest. To be good. To be true. And most importantly, that the Larry I was when "Baby" hit isn't the Larry here today.
  6. So as we clean out our house, mow the lawn, treat Joe - LEO - as a son of sorts and generally start to mesh into this new world, I learn.
  7. And that's not just a personality trait - it's a goddamn gift. She can see the beauty in this new beginning whereas I dwell on the end.
  8. Not that I was ever normal. Hehe. I've never quite been that, I suppose. But @lucy_swann can make this situation seem normal.
  9. When you see everyone you know die - along with your hopes and dreams - well, it's tough to just pick up the pieces and be "normal."
  10. I have to admit, it's all been her taking the lead and me following with this relationship. And I've fought getting too close.
  11. Had a long, much needed talk with @Lucy_Swann tonight about why I'm such a clam when it comes to my feelings. Such a great girl.
  12. Sometimes it pays to just follow, y'know? Just hollow and let the others lead so you don't have the world lookin' at you for answers.
  13. Real people within this world of one huge ending and, now, many new beginnings. This is tiring me, processing this all. Need to go to sleep.
  14. That @haroldlauder got the object of his desires. But he didn't. And so it comes to pass that Twitter *IS* in fact filled with real people.
  15. And while Twitter signs pointed to @Fran_goldsmith and @Stu_Redman being an item here on Twitter, I'd held out that wasn't true.
  16. He's a kid? Jesus! How? I didn't really get to talk to him, hope to do that sometime soon so I can properly thank him, but the mind reels.
  17. Or 2.) he was being all meta-funny and pulled out a picture of Parker Lewis from that old TV show. But no, neither was true. That *IS* him.
  18. I thought that picture was a joke! When I first saw him on here, I thought either 1.) he was in a different world than my @haroldlauder...
  19. There he was, looking exactly like his avatar on Twitter. Someone so wise and worldly couldn't be that young.
  20. As as Oz the Great and Tewwible? None other than @haroldlauder, my man I tailed across 2000+ miles across this once great, now dead country.
