  1. Just spent about six hours with the Monsters, Inc. Blu-ray. It's safe to say Pixar is all about the details, to their credit.
  2. http://twitpic.com/oy34t - Admittedly my place is looking a bit loony.
  3. Off to see Fantastic Mr. Fox. I have the highest of hopes for this one, I'm a long time Anderson fan.
  4. @ropeofsilicon Theoretically, that could be any old Brad Brevet.
  5. @drakelelane I want a fact checker. It's interesting the Liv & Renee made it big... but none of the guys from Empire Records did.
  6. @drakelelane Solid!!
  7. http://twitpic.com/oq52t - Renee Zellweger circa 1995 in Empire Records.
  8. Looks like Christmas Carol takes the weekend with $31 - $40m. I expect something on the lower end now, as it's too dark for children.
  9. The Paramount folks want to put your name on the Paranormal Activity DVD credits... http://www.paranormalactivi...
  10. @slashfilm Did you hear me and David talk about it this morning? I think the key to the film is Cameron's toe...
  11. @Memles Robin Wright Penn was in maybe 90 seconds of that movie. And where was Elwes?? I hope they got paid a flat rate!
  12. I find myself cheering for The Box this weekend, if only because it's the only new release you can discuss for hours after seeing.
  13. @JRichardKelly Would you say that our understanding of Cameron Diaz's injury in The Box is paramount to our understanding the film?
  14. @AronDej Yeah, it's loony tunes. I'm not sure whether to run or hide. Or both.
  15. Reviews of The Box & Christmas Carol from yours truly... http://www.film.com/movies/...
  16. @RobPattzNews Hey, are you in Seattle? I've got some passes to the early screening here if you want in. Email me at llegel at film dot com.
  17. @frothygirl That's the dilemma I'm facing now. So far I've got: "Weird... but sort of effective?" I may have some work to do on it.
  18. @colemanranahan I mean, it would have fit with all the other weirdness, right?? And probably freaked the audience out even MORE. ;)
  19. @ranielle And NSA didn't help us at all!!! :)
  20. @frothygirl I'll admit I'm not at all sure. But I found the process interesting, if a little too creepy.
