  1. Posted my OpenJDK 7 Mac PowerPC binaries and build instructions: http://bit.ly/4s8y5Q
  2. Our friends at Cozybit are looking for a linux/embedded wireless engineer: http://cozybit.com/were-hiring/senior-embedded-wireless-engineer
  3. @djspiewak I'm definitely interested in any reports on where Soylatte/OpenJDK BSD-Port differs from the Sun VM.
  4. @djspiewak As Scala is to Java, <Other> is to Obj-C? I want enough time to design and implement the <Other>.
  5. Moved to a new place to the Mission. Hello to anyone in the neighborhood -- we're at 18th & York.
  6. Got Leopard/PPC OpenJDK 7 VM bootstrapped on my G5 iMac; trying to rebuild again with the bootstrap VM. A very slow build =)
  7. @RestlessThinker I've been primarily using GTM, keep meaning to look into the alternative implementations (ghunit, etc).
  8. @stuartcarnie It's on my TODO list, but I still need to do some further review and fix a few outstanding issues before I do a beta release.
  9. @tcurdt For what it's worth, I've been using PLBlocks 1.0 very heavily on the iPhone and haven't run into a runtime or compiler bug yet.
  10. Web apps won't replace native applications; they'll both just continue to converge until there isn't a difference.
  11. RT @therealkerni Working on CrashReporterDemo improvements: http://github.com/TheRealKerni/CrashReporterDemo
  12. OpenJDK BSD Port Project now has an official wiki: http://wikis.sun.com/display/OpenJDK/BSDPort (thanks @robilad)
  13. @SenorDanimal Yeah, now that we're looking to grow I'm trying to speak up a bit more about being a co-op and my interest behind starting one
  14. We're (Plausible Labs) looking for a software engineer to help us out: http://www.plausiblelabs.com/blog/?p=18
  15. If you're interested in co-ops, you might also want to read the Tech Coop HOWTO -- more digestible than bylaws: http://bit.ly/M05ih
  16. Posted our bylaws: RT @plausiblelabs Curious how a software co-op is organized? Read our bylaws: http://bit.ly/1KLVnG
  17. Running my first tarsnap (www.tarsnap.com) backups. Thanks to @cperciva for a secure, efficient online backup system: http://bit.ly/2KHKIn
  18. @chockenberry Any restriction that prevents providing your own upgrade codes to users with the paid binary, in addition to in-app purchase?
  19. @mikeash Sure seems like it. And provides a proper way of independently verifying purchase information, skewering opportunistic piracy.
  20. Cool -- our first PLBlocks-enabled app (written for a client) was accepted for sale in the AppStore a few days ago.
