  1. Tweeting from the 52nd annual IAGLR conference at the University of Toledo. We are nearly done with a great day of scientific sessions.
  2. We are expecting more than 700 people and there will be more than 500 scientific presentations on Great Lakes research.
  3. UT and Lake Erie Center faculty, staff and students have been busily preparing for the conference. Visit www.iaglr.org/conference for more.
  4. Next week, the International Association for Great Lakes Research will hold its 52nd annual meeting at the University of Toledo.
  5. Lots of activity today at the Lake Erie Center as we prepare for the NSF GK-12 Poster Gala, which is tonight from 6 - 8 pm.
  6. Join us this Wed, Earth Day, at 3 pm for a special tour and tree planting. We'll have refreshments and there will be native plants 4 sale.
  7. Tonight @ 7 pm, Dr. Frank Merritt will give a public talk at the LEC: "Criminal Enforcement of Fed Environmental Laws (Or the Lack of It)"
  8. At the Owens CC Environmental Fair talking to students about the LEC and the new NSF-URM program.
