  1. @daelan thx for that vid, it's awesome. My wife is a high school biology teacher, I'm sending it to school with her!
  2. Just finished some intense Uncharted 2 online with @BenArledge
  3. @reileycat Totally! We walk past one today and they were having a huge, lively dinner in their supper hall!
  4. @CitizenFish I'm not a super-huge @mattgood fan, but his live show was one of the best I've seen.
  5. @christiannaths you clearly have not watched enough yet. Alec Baldwin's timing in that show is spot on (esp. earlier seasons).
  6. Oh look, @AlyssaAFox just shows up and crashes the office party.
  7. Friday afternoons are meant for removing code like this: http://dpaste.com/120248/
  8. @micahbrich Hey if your Mac is still slow, try using Chromium instead of Safari. My iMac is smoking fast now that Safari isn't always open.
  9. @jessmcmullin Thanks for rubbing it in. You UX guys are so insensitive.
  10. @davebellous #movember participant, or simply a moustache enthusiast?
  11. @paulm Not sure, that one has me stumped. Try posting on http://typophile.com/ -- usually get a response within minutes.
  12. @micahbrich http://bit.ly/WYX4Q Took a ~1.5s load time (S3) to ~800ms (CF). S3 is definitely slow at times. We'll be using CF for FJ.
  13. @micahbrich Yeah, based on geographic regions. So if you're from NY and you request a file from Cloudfront, a NY server ...."serves" you.
  14. LinkedIn now integrates with Twitter. Excited to have another channel which notifies me of people's lunch menu & their sleeping patterns.
  15. @gregeh Nope, I refuse to use Apple Mail (or any other client for that matter). Nothing beats gmail's web interface for speed & ease of use
  16. I have a milk mustache on my real mustache.
  17. @christiannaths Ya, never used it tho. It's different than django's forms, however, which let you define stuff independent of your models.
  18. Rails *really* needs another layer of indirection in it's form/model processing. Something like Django's forms framework, please.
  19. Finally unsubscribing from @carsonified's Think Vitamin blog. Starting to feel too much like every single other web-dev blog out there :(
  20. @colinhumber Nope. Normally my database alterations are minimal. I just keep simple SQL files in a 'migrations' folder.
