  1. Carrying my RB67 kit all day wasn't as hard as I thought, weight-wise. But boy am I sweaty. No joke. Except on anyone in smelling distance.
  2. @abigvictory I worry that sending you to websites with comic sans will be the new rickrolling.
  3. @abigvictory @TheInfamousGdub Someone let him out of the van? Shit, everybody run!
  4. @Kalli That's crazy. You need to start obsessively surfing for some different gear. I vote for a Nikon film body.
  5. @FireInTheSky Although I have a strong suspicion my Koni-Omega produces sharper results, Maybe because of better film flatness.
  6. @FireInTheSky But they work great, can be very flexible, and for smaller enlargement sizes (i.e., 8x10) stack up pretty well against 4x5.
  7. @FireInTheSky An RB67 with one lens and one back is about six pounds. Not a problem if that's all you're carrying, but...
  8. @FireInTheSky They're fantastic, but also tremendously heavy.
  9. @earthtopus Yeah, I miss having one on the way to someplace I go regularly. Hard to make a trip just for the purpose of Maximum Force.
  10. @FireInTheSky So far I've mostly used 6x7, but at some point I'd like to try a Pentacon 6 or its Russian copy equivalent.
  11. Also inexplicably soothing: playing Maximum Force. Sadly, there are no Maximum Force cabinets that I can get to on my lunch break.
  12. There's something weirdly therapeutic about making stupid flower photographs.
  13. Just shot a test roll of Ektar 120, with exposures for ISO 100 and ISO 50. Results tomorrow, probably.
  14. @swamibooba How about a new technique: Cut hole in pants, utilize reverse colonoscopy. Also: "Hey, look at that asshole with the camera!"
  15. Not sure if this is more or less cool than the cross knives from the Wing Commander movie. http://tr.im/s8wy
  16. Been shooting with the Bessa exclusively since I got it. Switching to the RB67 for a day tomorrow.
  17. I just shot a roll of Reala at ISO 400. Grrr.
  18. So, if someone starts talking about the "signature" of a lens, I should stop listening, right?
  19. Distressing that they missed Jorj X. Mckie of Frank Herbert's "Whipping Star" and "The Dosadi Experiment". http://tr.im/s0XC
  20. @mwgray I find my Plustek way more usable, not to mention compact and quiet than my 4490. Not obligatory, but I don't regret it at all.
