  1. Brittany Murphy's life and death is prime Vanity Fair/Dominick Dunne fodder. So sad & weird. Oh and Merry Christmas btw. I should be asleep.
  2. @abfdc we are very pleased w united today...a $180 upgrade to our mileage tix return at the gate, and they bumped us up to int'l biz class.
  3. Paris rocks. And we got upgraded to business class going home, living like LouisXIV.
  4. I spun 2 wheels and got us premier boarding on both of our flights.
  5. Paris, Hartford, New York - let the holiday tour begin.
  6. When mysterious bugs show up in your sink, are they climbing up from the pipes, or do they simply fly in and head for the best smells?
  7. Always so much to do on the day before you leave for a big trip.
  8. Wrote a poem draft today. Felt much more substantial afterward. Should be doing this daily.
  9. For 1st time ever, the magazine selection at my hairdresser's stinks. I am not interested in reading about hot restaurants. Trash please!
  10. @jeremyporter Perhaps you should bring back the casserole before bringing back its fancy transpo device.
  11. @jeremyporter I love those casserole carriers - the quilted ones somebody's mom always makes. Good luck. : )
  12. @jeremyporter Is your mom obsessed with Lost? Tell her me too. I have a Dharma t-shirt.
  13. @jeremyporter Time to look for someone's expired patent, I guess? Best marketer wins?
  14. Another party I'm late to but obsessed with: Hoarders on A&E.
  15. @jeremyporter No shame. Hasn't this little invention been around for like 30 years?
  16. Read Lauren Groff's "Sir Fleeting" last night and loved it. She's good at doing epic, painterly stories in brief. http://bit.ly/5nwnT0
  17. My friend Marly Youmans' novel, Val/Orson, is Book of the Year at Books & Culture. Please RT: http://bit.ly/5dS8QS
  18. Watching Karen Moncrieff's "Dead Girl" free from Sundance Channel VOD. Revelation: wow, Brittany Murphy can act!
  19. The deluge of rainstorms gave our mesclun, arugula, brussels sprouts & beets a mighty growth spurt. Still can't believe I like gardening.
  20. Eddie Bauer and Lands End have some really cute outdoor clothes right now, FYI. Boy, I'm rapidly becoming totally fashionless.
