  1. @binary43 I'm also working on binary. New draft of proposal D will go up soon. Prolly needs more work.
  2. Happy birthday, @sparky7891
  3. @binary42 Yeah, Inkscape is pretty hideous in X11 on a Mac. I keep a Linux box on my left and a Windows box on my right for that.
  4. @binary42 Inkscape is a great tool and easy to learn with the important tools close to the surface of the UI.
  5. Just finished reading "Wicked". It doesn't have a happy ending. I am now sad.
  6. Plausible etymology: "ritual" was abbreviated from "spiritual" as in "spiritual rite or ceremony".
  7. Plausible etymology: "trunks" as in "swim trunks" were originally "truncated pants".
  8. It's time to start using Anathem vocabulary in our daily lives, like jeejaw, the Reticulum, and Saunt Einstein.
  9. @wynk in OC? Perhaps you can find your way to Pasadena some time this weekend. @fastsoft tours daily.
  10. @ryah's Node.js talk is up http://bit.ly/7YYuzu #jsconfeu
  11. Welcome to CA, @ryah. Many delightful noms this Nomday.
  12. @binary42 yes, still at work. Will have to go home early (prolly 8) to make another π.
  13. @tolmasky if you want to meet up this weekend, I'm in Pasadena.
  14. @CommonJS Binary data proposal D ready for review http://bit.ly/8MmmsJ
  15. RT @ls_n: In response to David Flanagan's client side CommonJS module API implementation. http://bit.ly/8YOJ8A (short form: boo)
  16. There are many good ways to package CommonJS modules for client-side use in production. That's just not one of them.
  17. David Flanagan's CommonJS implementation is a proof-of-concept at best, and a red-herring at worst.
  18. Hm. Yeah. Next time I do a presentation with an awesome crowd like @jsconfeu, I'll have to lean less on the awesomeness of the topic.
  19. manual RT < automatic RT (common followers don't have to see it again) < quote and commentary < original news and ideas
  20. @ejpbruel 1/2 j/k, UTF-8 is great for progressively enhancing ASCII for transfer/storage, but in RAM only UCS-4 is complete and fixed width.
