  1. ACCORDION?! This character did not play accordion until I started this drawing. Then it was, duh, she plays (button) accordion.
  2. I writed. Now I can draws.
  3. @MykeNorten HELL YEAH
  4. Writing day. I really want to draw. I can't draw unless I write first. And around and around and around...
  5. Lots of progress on "she said" today. Younger cat is in my shirt hiding from fireworks. She chirps nervously at the very loud ones.
  6. @Larry_Merrill Thanks! Haven't decided on inks. I really want to do a book drawn in pencil and this just might be the one.
  7. Another "she said" sneak peek - the catty supporting characters: http://is.gd/1mH40
  8. @jemale I think I need that for myself!
  9. Script one-third complete. So far, so good. Now to thumbnail a bit and see if it works visually.
  10. @jemale And mine was at 5:30AM. Erg. Never went back to sleep. (Hello, new 'copters) There's too much day to fill when you rise that early!
  11. But I did hear someone say "Oh, Jesus" as the emergency crews arrived.
  12. Was just awoken by the sound of a car accident at the intersection. Sounded awful. Can't see anything from my windows.
  13. Happy dance! Figured out storytelling element I was missing. Script is now flowing like water.
  14. Screw electricity. I found an old-school (yet contemporary) hand-crank pencil sharpener today. I am happy. My pencils are pointy.
  15. I put out so many fires today that I can almost smell the smoke in my clothes. I totally earned my 4-day weekend. Yay.
  16. @acwilliams You're quite welcome! Those leads are rather awesome.
  17. Emile Norman PBS doc - holy moley! Such a life, such amazing art! Inspiring and makes me feel that don't create nearly enough.
  18. @acwilliams Seriously creepy! Although I'm sure she thought she was coming of as being kind and harmless. Erm, no.
  19. And , knowing what was up, I cut her off with a terse "NOT TODAY" before she even got into her spiel.
  20. "Angel, don't be scared. I'm just following you to your car." At least she tried to soothe me before she started her "$20 for gas" scam.
