  1. I really, really want a ride in this: http://www.wired.com/images_blogs/autopia/2009/12/ss2-and-vms-eve-preview8-660x402.jpg
  2. Ugh... difficult to think when still doped up on cough medicine... extra coffee only making me jittery. Weather is great though.
  3. Either way, S&P's breakfast is only for another 30 mins, so off I go for khao tom pla (rich soup with fish) & my daily ice-latte brain juice
  4. Avast just gave me a "Trojan Horse Alert" on my Facebook homepage ("JS:ScriptPE-inf"). Is Facebook infected, or is Avast false-positive?
  5. hopes msft eventually adds StringFormat to SilverLight's binding expressions, like they did in WPF... back to ye olde Converter class..
  6. And.... just as I'm about to go to a customer office in Silom, I can hear thunder, and the sky goes dark. Maybe I should VPN instead?
  7. is thinking, "What a great morning!" Gotta love the view of the canal, and oasis of green surrounded by Bangkok from the 34th floor!
  8. @KristoferA Did you read the comments at the end of the article on C#, evolution, and Hejlsberg? Some people really miss the point.
  9. @KristoferA I would agree that C# is the way to go - I've started doing more work in C#, but old habits die hard. I started on VIC-20 BASIC
  10. @KristoferA I suppose you saw my survey box about not being able to hit 'enter' in the pop-box list of constraints...
  11. @KristoferA But, after another 5 years of "evolving", it'll be like this: http://bit.ly/12U8tN (but VB->C#)
  12. @KristoferA I'll bet a large bottle of Thai beer of ur choice that its longer than 5 years for evolving VB. Hell, they're still patching XP!
  13. is going to grab some coffee, get a haircut, then head to one of the 2 offices (or maybe both?) where he's got work to do in Silom.
  14. @KristoferA What, you want them to make it easier to cut-and-paste C# into VB (or vice-versa?) I use DeveloperFusion for snippets, it's good
  15. The gods are happy with my hacking of the treeview - as soon as it worked, the sky opened up with massive rains. So say we all !
  16. is happy that he got the F&*$K*ing WPF TreeView control to let me FINALLY add items and have them show up, selected, in edit mode. CHRIST
  17. @KristoferA apparently, if this project *is* a pet, it's the flea-ridden dog that gets kicked a lot! 55 Oh well, there's the glory, I s'pose
  18. now officially thinks the UN is underfunded... *sigh*... I suppose some things I'm willing to do for prestige and fun.
  19. @KristoferA You mean you don't like the smell of fresh sulfur in the morning? Living near the klong in downtown, I probably wouldn't notice
  20. I might just create html help in dreamweaver/other html editor, then try building .chm from that. End users... argh...
