Tried "Unspeakable Words." Quick play time and wonderful James Ernest wierdness in the classic Cheapass Games style. This game is a hit.

Finally tried Wildlife Adventure. Fast-playing with room for some strategy. If you haven't played it, I can certainly recommend it.

Table next to me had a terrible time with Terra Prime last night, aborted at the midway point. Hope that was the exception, not my fun play!

Finally tried Terra Prime. Opening plays were strategically foolish but it was good nonetheless and I'm looking forward to trying it again.

Homesteaders gets better every time I play it. If you haven't tried it yet, step away from the computer and get to your FLGS Now.

Triumvirate is an excellent 2-player game. Taught it to Debra last night and she immediately stomped me. Alas!

Tried "Phantom Rummy" tonight. It's a Japanese rummy game heavily influenced by Mah Jong. A little light but very fun nonetheless.

Among the games tried since BGG.Con, Homesteaders is by far the best. It offers strategic auctioning and civ building in one clean set.

Shadow Hunters fans: BUY THE EXPANSION! You won't be sorry. OTOH, if you don't enjoy the base game, this won't change your mind.

Castle Panic was a lot of fun buy I worry that it will suffer from "same-ness" upon repeated plays. Does the attacker get real decisions?

Infinite City is a fun, wild game. It may be too chaotic for some people's tastes but I found it to be an enjoyable filler.
