  1. 11/29: 1st night of real sleep since the beginning of Lean Left tour; caught up on work; nice Spanish dinner with band and Disco Hoek!
  2. 11/28: Final gig w/Lean Left- Rotterdam. Perhaps best show of tour; despite lack of sleep band very focused and energy super concentrated.
  3. 11/27: Lean Left plays in Warsaw, packed house, 1 longer set and encore; have to reset my thinking from the night before, learn again...
  4. 11/26: Concert in Ljubljana- 2 sets, excellent crowd, encore. Think I figure out a better way to play w/group, lines shifting/"Ethiopian."
  5. 11/25: Lean Left play in Zagreb. Despite Andy's amp breaking at the start of the concert, things pull together; 2nd half + encore very good.
  6. 11/23: Lean Left (a/Terrie Ex, Andy Moor, Paal Nilssen-Love) start tour at the Bimhuis- 2 strong sets, 2nd really opens, tons of energy.
  7. 11/22: Duo tour ends on a tough gig- acoustics DEAD, right ear DEAD, overtones DEAD, etc. But Paal and I slug it out, and get to some sound.
  8. 11/21: Duo plays the Servolo Jazz Meeting/Venice. Completely burned out, no sleep in Vienna, but nearly 300 people give us creative energy.
  9. @richardrj Hey, glad you were there and enjoyed the music so much! Tough to head to Venice the next day, hard to leave the club early...
  10. 11/20: Vienna/Blue Tomato- what can be said? This club and Alchemia/Krakow remain 2 of the finest places to play in Europe; stunning crowd!
  11. 11/19: Last gig on the Polish stretch of duo tour (Poznan, Dragon Klub) is stronger and more exploratory; good to move on with a step up.
  12. 11/18: Another incredible audience, this time Warsaw at POWIEKSZENIE. Challenging gig, Paal and I less in tune mostly due to exhaustion...
  13. 11/17: 2 trains/2 planes, smashed suitcase enroute to Krakow and Alchemia- fantastic night, Paal playing amazing, standing ovation, 2 encore
  14. @michalptaszek Wanted to thank you for coming to so many concerts this autumn, great that you've followed the groups so closely!
  15. 11/16: Play at Manufactur in Schorndorf ("we may be ugly but we have the music"), superb audience (2 encores after 2 sets), music developing
  16. 11/15: Duo plays in Oslo at Kampen, super crowd and 2 sets of exploratory music. B. Johnson interview: http://tinyurl.com/y93an3r
  17. 11/14: Duo in Drammen, an afternoon gig which feels a bit odd, got into some very high velocity playing. Listened to albums until 4am.
  18. 11/13: Duo hits Stavanger- 2 sets at Galleri Sult, where Terry Nilssen-Love's paintings are exhibited; best show and crowd of tour so far.
  19. 11/12: Duo with Paal plays in Bergen on a double bill w/Lê Quan Ninh/Michel Doneda, impressed by Ninh's versatility w/bass drum. Duo strong
  20. @richardrj Oh, Paal and I will be awake for the Vienna show; DEFINITELY! See you there, got the new duo albums with us.
