  14. 3. Create rubric for each 21st century skill- must have crisp definition of each. Create teacher support by having them build the rubrics.
  15. 2. Come to closure on the content and skills required of students in the 21st century. Have the school board formally adopt them as policy.
  16. 1. Articulate the vision of 21st century skills- create advisory board- get buy in from bus., community , educators, parents, students etc.
  17. 5. Consider creating 21st century coaches to act as mentors around the skills. Create professional learning communities around the skills.
  18. 4. Prioritize the skills. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving should be prioritized the highest- that's what 21st century rigor is.
  19. 3. Create rubrics for each.The skills mean nothing if there isn't a rubric for them. Have your teachers build the rubrics.
  20. 2. Come to closure on the content and skills that really matter. Have the school board adopt them. Create a pictorial image of them.
