  1. Son's Tae-Kwon-Do class + netbook + MiFi = significant dent in GoogleReader. Nice.
  2. At my son's baseball game. Looks like summer but the temperature doesn't feel like summer. Hot chocolate sales are brisk.
  3. Finally feel like it's summer now that tech. camp is over! Good thing I have 2.5 months to catch up on the 600+ unread items in GReader.
  4. Finally got tasks to show up in our Apps version of Google Calendar. Great timing - showing calendar next week to teachers.
  5. What a day. All I can say is "SERENITY NOW!!!"
  6. @ryanbretag I wish we did. We have nothing that is expected - not even curriculum.
  7. On the road listening to the Rox game on the radio. Glad to hear that Josh Fogg is back with the club!
  8. Tweeting on the way to Mt. Rushmore. In the car on the iPod touch, & MiFi is going strong. We'll see if "the network" covers SD. . .
  9. Zacbrowser (browser for kids w/ autism) now integrates w/ wii remote. Very cool - but Win only. http://www.zacbrowser.com/wii.
  10. GarageBand project went very well today. Love it when kids are SO engaged (and on Friday last period, no less!).
  11. Afore-mentioned floppy disk only works in Classic/OS9 -- and it's just canned questions from a test generator program. <sigh>
  12. Got a "floppy" from a teacher yesterday -- he wants to get the test questions from it. If it's that old, maybe new questions are in order?
  13. Checking out the message translation feature in our GoogleApps Gmail (via Labs). This might have great potential for our ESL parents.
  14. @teach42 Just got a civ hybrid. Love it. But had an SUV before, so it's WAY different.
  15. @WickedDecent Hey from Denver, CO. Big fan of WDL (despite their bias towards the Red Sox).
  16. @esinglet It worked like a champ! Tried it at a park & in my car (I wasn't driving at the time). Just came out Sunday from Verizon.
  17. @esinglet MiFi is a little portable wi-fi device (about the size of a credit card). Provides a secure private network for up to 5 devices.
  18. @lindseyb16 Went with the 5GB plan, but they said I could switch to the lower plan at any time. Am curious to see how much I use per month.
  19. Tweeting from the iPod touch at son's baseball practice. Taking the MiFi for a first run. So far, it rocks. Next test: netbook.
  20. @rmbyrne Hello Oxford Hills. I'm in Denver. PLN is the best way to keep up with my field (and the best way to get questions answered.
