  1. @myrtlife But I can't figure out why. Our mgt. is all about "don't break the circuit ever" but then we're supposed to change them too?
  2. @myrtlife We change vent circuits for retarded reasons...use stiffened circs for APRV and change regs. every 7 days for "infection control"
  3. Evidently "I'm almost ready to go" means "prepare for three hours of waiting" in woman-speak.
  4. @Xtne Ha! No worries.
  5. “Many of us who walk to and fro upon our usual tasks are prisoners drawing mental maps of escape." Loren Eiseley
  6. @Xtne to respond to you two weeks late, thank you!
  7. @Other_Brother Thanks! I'm going to be updating a little more this weekend...hope you enjoy my madness.
  8. Escapist urges rising. Must...not...flee...must...love...life...
  9. Had a patient ask me "When is my heroin due?" "Depends. How fast can your guy get here?"
  10. @rajarajeshwarip Thanks!
  11. @ImnotBenny I didn't have to pay anything that I remember...that sucks dude!
  12. @not_ratched I dunno about the less sex, there's so righteous hos where I work.
  13. Not just burned out; scorched.
  14. Me: "Hi, Mrs. X, I have a breathing treatment for you." Mrs. X: "Are you f***ing kidding me? I don't need that b**ls**t." Well done, Mrs. X
  15. Life is precious. Why do we spend it doing things we hate to do? Oh yeah, our wives tell us to. MARRIAGE FAIL.
  16. Exposed to plenty of potential H1N1 cases over the weekend, now I have coarse NPC and chest congestion. Time for fluids and rest.
  17. @thomasanderson I totally do that at work. On the can? Twitter!
  18. @myrtlife A lot of our surgeons still act like it's the Hot New Thing. Drives me absolutely INSANE.
  19. @myrtlife way over used but somehow still kicking!
  20. @myrtlife You learned IPPB because even though no evidence supports it, many MDs still use it. It's the Albuterol of Machinery...
