  1. @kelindk Also, a lot of people really get into the concept of word wars. :)
  2. @kelindk Enh, writing's such a solitary act that it's nice to get out and be with other people, even if you're working on your own thing.
  3. PROTIP: When organizing a boycott, it often helps to get people involved in said boycott that actually use said product/service. Just sayin'
  4. @kelindk It was nice having you there. :)
  5. crossed the 15k mark. Woohoo!
  6. @Jenipurr You can do it, you can do it, we're cheering here, you can do it! ;) (Sorry, cheerleading isn't one of my best skills...)
  7. @BobHole Yeah, they were organized for NaNoWriMo. Doesn't help, I know.
  8. @BobHole Yeah, but we did write-ins every November in Roseville for the last few years. :)
  9. At the Roseville Panera, having a write-in.
  10. on my way to Roseville for the next write-in.
  11. @Six31 ah, I think I know where you're going. Maybe next week I'll come along.
  12. @Six31 I'm glad you figured out that you don't have to go downtown to novel. ;) (yeah, I know, I just couldn't resist.)
  13. @underpope Ah, yeah, that would explain it. :)
  14. @Jenipurr your blog appears to have keeled over and is now playing dead.
  15. @Worldmage It's amazing how competitive people get when we do this.
  16. @Worldmage Ah, we've found it works even without write or die -- it's kinda like the sprint, only everybody gives their total at the end.
  17. @mactavish hehe, naw, I live near the city. ;)
  18. If I could convince just 17 people to donate $10, ian org I support gets money to keep going: http://bit.ly/17xKEW #nanowrimo
  19. @Worldmage I have a 4k and a 5k day logged. On the latter, though, a three hour virtual write-in with several word wars helped a lot.
  20. @dhemery wtf? They'd better waive the fee in that case. Besides, there's things that you don't want going under the plane...
