  1. Very grateful that I wore boots and brought my mittens to work today, since they moved my project outside into piled/blowing snow.
  2. Last day of work before I go on vacation!
  3. Concerned that one of my radiators appears to be exhausting steam... again.
  4. e-Fighting with eRoom. I seriously dislike this software.
  5. RT @BadAstronomer: At this moment, 17:47 GMT, the Winter Solstice officially occurs! http://is.gd/5wmp0
  6. @SaraJoElice But we got that, too-the first week of December, it was 70F and sunny, so that's when I pulled all my carrots from the garden!
  7. Very sad to be in traffic instead of @mitsfs meeting
  8. All these people are on my road. Traffic stopped :(
  9. @kevinriggle Have you considered a tea latte?
  10. Yuck. Someone burned microwave popcorn in my office, and now the whole floor smells awful.
  11. Anxiously waiting for email back from colleagues. Not the most calming way to spend a morning.
  12. My new mittens are too small---they make my hands hurt when I am gripping something (like driving). Time to go back to LLBean and get men's.
  13. Mad at myself. Boots I'd been thinking about getting for weeks now sold out, because I tried to go to the store, instead of ordering online.
  14. http://www.kingarthurflour.com/blog/2009/12/11/hanukiah-chanukkiyah-cupcake-menorah/ Awesome cupcake menorah!
  15. Must actually *eat* my lunch to get the benefit. Buying it and then jumping back into work (or twitter) does not count.
  16. Wow. I should have ditched xemacs for Gnu emacs a while ago. LaTex just works, nothing crashes... I am a happy camper.
  17. Wishing I'd brought some my Chex mix with me to work. That was a great snack yesterday, and the tiny bit that was left made me want more.
  18. Wow, that was easy. GNU emacs was a complete breeze to install. Wonder if LaTeX still works?
  19. xemacs driving me crazy---crashing and leaving dead windows all over that won't die without a reboot. Time for a new Emacs.
  20. @_rigel_ Good luck!
