  1. is on the veranda at Hickatee Cottages listening to LeeLaa's creole music and the jungle in surround sound. #BelizeGreatDestinations #Belize
  2. is sad that she can't make it to see Juan Carlos in Guatemala for New Year. Duty calls in #Belize and I'm putting my readers first.
  3. is having dinner at Cotton Tree Lodge after a 12-hour tour. Enjoying home comforts (and fresh baked banana cake). #BelizeGreatDestinations
  4. Reluctantly left behind great Garifuna live music at D'Eclipse club, Placencia. 7am set off for Punta Gorda #BelizeGreatDestinations #Belize
  5. off to review Placencia's nightspots in stormy southern #Belize. Starting countdown to Christmas in Sittee River #BelizeGreatDestinations
  6. has snorkelled and eaten herself into oblivion today. Bedtime! Tomorrow means more exploring of Placencia #BelizeGreatDestinations #Belize
  7. @sarahleetravels So I shouldn't say about snorkelling today in the azure Caribbean, drying off on the flour-fine sands at Silk Caye? #Belize
  8. is impressed with #Belize's gourmet offerings in candy-coloured Placencia #BelizeGreatDestinations
  9. is leaving Turtle Inn for the Inn at Robert's Grove. Snorkelling off silk caye today but feeling a little homesick for snowy England #Belize
  10. @niltiac Belize is all about small, personalised hotels so it's easy to escape big resorts, especially if you avoid San Pedro.
  11. has been all over Placencia today. Now checking email before going review-a-rama once again. #BelizeGreatDestinations
  12. @travelojos @niltiac How about a two-centre Mexico-Belize extravaganza? ;-)
  13. @travelojos Thank you; it's nice to reconnect. I've been a little bit off the Mexico radar for a while.
  14. RT @travelojos Mexico, U.S. Share Much More Than a Fence http://bit.ly/6P5AaD
  15. @niltiac Most resorts offer (costly) transfers . I travel a lot by Belize's old US school buses. Scenic routes but you need time &patience.
  16. @niltiac I will definitely do that. It's called Belize: Great Destinations (Countryman Press, 2011).
  17. @niltiac St George's Caye is pretty and has a rich history. It's fun to nose at the locals' posh holiday homes http://bit.ly/qRkfW
  18. @niltiac Dangriga has maintained classic (albeit rickety) colonial architecture. You'll often catch some of the best drumming in #Belize
  19. @niltiac Thanks!
  20. @niltiac No problem. Just send me a DM and I'd be happy to help, provided you buy my book in 2011! #BelizeGreatDestinations
