  1. .@jnetman1 Just started image on eee1000 using your .34 image.
  2. .@djakes .@JackieB We're doing the same thing-we'll have 12 eeePC 1000's available 4 checkout, starting w/class period, then possibly longer
  3. Looking for various vocab activities that I can create online (my words) then embed on a web page. Crossword, word search, whatever. Anyone?
  4. .@paulallison That teacher's plan is to get students more involved in creating the podcasts this year.
  5. .@paulallison Pretty much at home. They can subscribe through school, but it would fill up their server space very quickly.
  6. .@paulallison Just getting started but I have a chemistry teacher who has students subscribe to podcasts via iTunes http://bit.ly/nkPqb
  7. Yep, the CD's are what jumped out at me. I'm sure U of Akron is doing great things, but the person that designed that ad - not so much.
  8. Took this in Cleveland airport today. What's wrong with this picture? http://twitpic.com/ai5ld
  9. via @sammorra: Interesting version of Did You Know - about teachers and creating learning teams. http://is.gd/1z4Nf -Interesting-from NCTAF
  10. .@GregoryNoack . . . access for 1st time or growing older and into the demographic.
  11. .@GregoryNoack I think that's part of it, too. All the kids who had access and wanted FB already had it, not it's more kids getting . . .
  12. .@jasonklein Optimistic? Perhaps. But how many millions of kids have had the FB talk in last 12 months? Even if only 10% listened . . .
  13. .@ryanbretag I think that definitely comes into play. But let's not lose sight of the fact that 2.2 million under 25 joined in last 6 months
  14. Perhaps some of them aren't identifying because of safety lessons they've received from educators or to avoid spam?=speculation
  15. re: Facebook numbers.I'm not sure how much we should read into that. Numbers of young people are still up-just not identifying as hs/college
  16. @Johnrison Hoping to "add" something of value.
  17. .@crafty184 Perhaps a new euphemism - "hide the Appalachian." #he'sverycrafty
  18. .@nashworld Also, want to show implementation when possible, but also want to show possibilities - no case studies exist for some of this.
  19. .@nashworld Not sure "presenter" is the frame we're looking at (but everything's on the table).
  20. .@Deacs84 Okay. Will hold you to that (offer to help).
