Just wrapped up a fantastic-ly relaxing weekend in OGT with the fam ... and now I'm heading to Austin. Bon voyage!
| karihanson Time to focus on wrapping things up for the long weekend. |
| karihanson Just got a welcome basket from my new employer -- including some Texas queso (which I'm debating having for breakfast). Nice touch. |
| karihanson @jmeserve Forget tax holidays for shopping. I'd agree to stay off the road in the name of our country's birth week. |
| karihanson I think this week should be a mandatory US holiday week -- all in the name of, um, patriotism and, er, energy conservation. Yup. |
| karihanson In the thick of qualitative coverage and quantitative competitive coverage analysis ... all in the name of building a solid plan! |
| karihanson Since we saw "record highs" on gas a month ago, isn't every increase since a new record? Do we really need to add "all new record high"? |
| karihanson Listening to the rough cut of two podcasts -- it's amazing how much I missed the first time around. |
| karihanson I love the feeling of new contacts. Things are so clear now. |
| karihanson Part of me wants to sneak out and release him. The more he eats my flowers, the less watering I have to do. I'm okay with that. |
| karihanson Watching a neighbor trap (humanely) a baby woodchuck to relocate to the lake and finding myself rooting for the little guy. |
| karihanson I'm ready to get back to blogging -- but it needs a new look. Maybe I should finally figure out how to host the thing? |
| karihanson Think the new TechCrunchIT site will give CNET a run for their money? |
| karihanson @clarklesparkle consider yourself branded, sparkle and all. |
| karihanson @bgagne I might need to try that. At this rate, rock carving would be faster ... |
| karihanson @clarklesparkle what's with the new name? I can't even type it with a straight face |
| karihanson And with that rant, I'm off to find some scotch. I mean coffee. |
| karihanson Maybe if you stopped adding resource hogging capabilities that no one ever uses, you could focus on a simple save function. |
| karihanson I particularly love that I can turn on my Mac & check email while Office 2007 saves a document. You're enabling incredible multi-tasking. |
| karihanson It's nice to know that as the rest of the technology world improves, you're still following your own path. |
