  1. la ho`iho`i ea at thomas square is coming up on sunday, july 26. early planning is good. i'll have a booth with photos of the last 5 years
  2. thinking about class tomorrow. have polynesian group coming in from a housing project to perform music/dance for students. we'll feed them.
  3. recovering from a really hot day at kalaeloa! but students learned lots and saw some good sites. i learned to try to hang out in the shade.
  4. reading a book about iolani luahine by francis haar. today i videotaped with del cloe a session on ka lei maile alii hcc. it was good.
  5. getting ready for class this morning. we'll experience music and dance in pasifik cultures--guest performers from KPT!

  16. saying hi to bobbye! how goes it? yesterday i learned a good lesson. staying humble is always the best bet.
