  1. @rossjones read it later. :-D
  2. Neat use for AR Techniques: http://bit.ly/NTOy8
  3. @zedshaw Love your reasons for writing lamson (from that post). (license "issues" your business, not mine :)
  4. @tdobson That's @zedshaw's reasons for his code. He explicitly says it's not ripping on anyone else's decision for /their/ code.
  5. @mohsin No, it had a fantastic ending, absolutely spot on. cf von Daniken, Original BSG *&* HHGTTG.
  6. Yay, can lock one bad data source to another bad data source, and do stuff synchronised between them. Sounds evil I know, but useful.
  7. @cubicgarden Not even an inventive SMB/CIFS mount ? ;-)
  8. @cubicgarden I often connect to remote services via 127.0.0.1 via ssh port forwarding. 127.0.0.1 == anywhere you like really.
  9. @jacobian Those questions are /part/ of the reason for the existence of the #kamaelia mini-axon tutorial.
  10. @jessenoller Oh, also all non-lightning talk speakers also agreed during talk proposal stage. Still, feelings & "oh did I really say" ... :)
  11. @FionaSarah I liked your talk as well, If you want me to tag your talk with where the code lives, I'm happy to do so. :)
  12. @jessenoller As a result, removal is more about respecting feelings of the lightning talker. Sad though. 2/2
  13. @jessenoller It's just lightning talks people. In the UK recording live events is OK, unless not to do so is a condition of entry. 1/2
  14. Another #europython speaker embarassed by his talk in public has asked for it to be taken down. V sad, since it was interesting.
  15. Had to remove a #europython video. A speaker left in some slides-> he can't have in (good reasons). Is happy for talk to be up without them.
  16. All #europython videos now available : http://tinyurl.com/l46lk9
  17. @drjtwit That example is something we've faced in #kamaelia. See this to see how resolved: http://tinyurl.com/meoan5
  18. Reading source for filterpype - it is as limited as suspected. Pity. Design inherently prevents using known useful topologies.
  19. Thinking that gtk's behaviour makes sense, but it's counter intuitive. Glad to know about it though. time for sleep methinks.
  20. Turns out the bug in kamaelia I've been hunting is a known issue in how pygtk is used. (simple solution too, if you know what to do)
