  1. Sallie Mae's website is the single worst user experience I have had the great displeasure to encounter in the last five years. Bar none.
  2. Oh no. I'm sorry, I gave Sallie Mae too much credit. They actually *failed to create the account* at the end of the 20-minute process. Wow.
  3. Sallie Mae, would you care to explain to me why you lost the password for the account I SET UP ONE MINUTE AGO?
  4. @nickheer ::facepalm:: Thanks for that, Quagmire. They really have an unfortunate name to go with that verb.
  5. @8C Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. …that's a joke, right? Please tell me that's a joke.
  6. @8C That said, I'd absolutely love to have ext4 become the standard filesystem. I want something stable, fast, and writable everywhere.
  7. Holy crap, people, that was a rhetorical question. *Obviously* it's because of Microsoft's penetration; it's just annoying as hell.
  8. Why is it that Microsoft's file systems inevitably wind up being the de facto transfer format? First FAT, now NTFS.
  9. So far I've successfully saved my Whoniverse stash and FMA. Next up: collected works of Joss Whedon & Monty Python.
  10. @danielpunkass My personal favorite is still how they've started searching for what they think you want, instead of what you actually typed.
  11. Attempting to save my Doctor Whoniverse video before my media drive starts making funny noises again. Dammit, computer…
  12. @gruber What are you, a '20s gangster?
  13. @aedison Worries about Schrödinger's cat keep… wait for it… dogging me. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  14. Just misread: "Waveboard 0.9 is currently the new*t*est version available." FULL OF SALAMANDERS.
  15. @conspire1 People tend to make generalisations based on the things apparent to them. Political leanings, accent… skin colour.
  16. @conspire1 I think you have an advantage there; as a sighted person, skin colour is hard to ignore completely because it's so apparent.
  17. @conspire1 Straight up. Race is a social construction. People of all varieties use it as a convenient but fallacious social shorthand.
  18. http://twitpic.com/pr3j2 - This is an amazing photo; does anyone know where it's from? ("Pundit Kitchen"is not an acceptable answer.)
  19. @jolirouge I just wrote "do less with more" instead of "do more with less". I'm in the same boat.
  20. @blaiddxdrwg ENJOY THE EPIC
