  1. Watching my man Monk One spin at Von on bleecker st, crowd is getting hyped for the pete rock 'can't truss it' remix, always a good sig ...
  2. @Dead2Most yea but resume and twitter are difft venues, not fair to judge the same way-many tweeting "kronkite" wld take more care w/ resume
  3. I've seen handwritten notes/diary entries from Richard Pryor, *horrible* spelling, but IMO few minds were ever sharper or wiser
  4. @Fortitude1913 i think that's true for some, but for others it's just memory issue in difft part of brain than cognitive stuff that matters
  5. @kedra It's a fertile topic for sure but I'd bet a similar amount of people would've mispelled "Castro" et al in Cronkite's heyday
  6. btw I don't *really* think bad spelling means that much, lots of smart people are bad spellers (and I say that as a spelling bee champion)
  7. @shani_o no i agree twitter spelling trends don't *really* really prove anything about current state of media etc
  8. RT @daveholmes: "Sad snapshot of the media world Walter Cronkite leaves behind: 'Walter Kronkite' is trending."
  9. Other ultimate tribute to Cronkite: he was the man Slick Rick would compare himself to, when he wanted to impress women http://tr.im/sSR
  10. ultimate tribute to Cronkite-TV's struggle to properly cover loss of the man who set history's standard for that very task http://tr.im/sSPp
  11. @profblmkelley @harrislacewell agreed, but then again I thought far too little of MJ's coverage qualified as collective cultural examination
  12. @xenijardin i think it's sad that people will place their deaths in opposition this way..each was important to many people in their own way
  13. ok credit where it's due, guest host on Hardball broke the silence & called Pat Buchanan out, & led pretty good Affirmative Action segment
  14. @MsQuote I do appreciate Pat when he analyzes DC's backroom maneuvering, but you can't ever leave him alone with the racial liquor cabinet!
  15. awkward day on MSNBC, acting like they didn't see Buchanan flip out last night..like family pretending they don't know dad's alcoholic
  16. @BishopBrigante (not comparing you to T-Rex! i just mean on the subject of battling)
  17. @BishopBrigante For real though, T-Rex is looking weak right now..on a related note, are you ever gonna step in the ring at KOTD or GT? :)
  18. got cat litter at Trader Joes, turned out to be weird "organic" kind..Tyka's glaring at it like "we don't believe you, you need more people"
  19. . @losanjalis yeah my tweets were imprecise-my beef was he made glib appeal to authority while using layperson's misconception of that word
  20. sorry should have specified, Coburn is an OBGYN (psychiatrists are physicians, yes) (ok done livetweet spamming)
