  1. @danemorgridge Yes it would. Except I own the first 2 and haven't finished them yet :-)
  2. @jbogard I think folks may alias certain commands (on a unix/mac system) but I've never .bat-ed my Windows git ops. Interesting, though.
  3. @kfitzpatrick Yeah I just started using that manually on gem installs but forgot about .gemrc. Thanks!!
  4. Still annoys me that Ruby gems install lickety-split but RI and RDOC files take for God-damn-ever.
  5. @dangertater Yeah I'm trying to track that down too :-)
  6. Outfitting my old PPC Mac Mini for Rails dev is turning out to be harder than I thought. Limited to OSX 10.5. Tracking down XCode 3.1...
  7. iPhone battery is definitely on the outs. Probably time for a trip to ye olde genius bar.
  8. @alphex I don't disagree but for suburbanites it's a moot point. It's how we have yo get around 99% of the time.
  9. Coffee: Brewing. Next up: REALLY need to get this house into some kind of order. The Lady's stuff is EVERYWHERE.
  10. Succesfully used the Bump application for the third time.
  11. @r38y Now that would be fun. Like the Bookmobile.
  12. @alexknowshtml Totally agreed! Loosely federated, perhaps, but individually tweaked for their communities.
  13. .@alexknowshtml But it has to be multiple towns. We're not taking about a focal point anymore.
  14. @alexknowshtml Yes that's a fair point. For suburbanites it's about road access. So maybe towns with good highway access?
  15. @ewindisch Thanks, Eric. I'll have to give that a try too.
  16. @alphex Oh sure. Pick the one snowy night to blow a hole in my argument ;-)
  17. @alexknowshtml For example, Jenkintown & Conshohocken? Both are hub-ish and could cover the east & west suburbs pretty well.
  18. @alexknowshtml I see what you mean. I don't think 1 solution exists, then. Maybe satellite coworking places for east and west suburbs?
  19. @alexknowshtml Define "suburban destination / hub" for me.
  20. @alexknowshtml Also a focal point where i476 and i76 meet and close to i276 access.
