  1. @portableant thanks, interesting. Right, I'm off to have a little lamb
  2. @portableant BM/BBC collaboration? More info please! Is this like Google/Irag National Museum? ;-)
  3. @tag hmm, can't recall. I don't bother any more, may as well do it at a station or in a shop (tho they'll charge for using cards)
  4. @tag when I've done it you had to go to a station to activate it. How stupid is that?
  5. I guess the lesson is, always do the default installation or get led on a merry dance
  6. @miaridge No, don't know them. Will have a look. Once VMWare licence is paid up plan 2 set up a LAMP VM & start on new learning curve!
  7. @richbs not an option today. Wouldn't even be bothing with the install if I had my VMWare licence, wd use existing virtual XP machine!
  8. @richbs thing is I've installed PHP several times before but am getting to grips with Vista and IIS7 at same time. Pain in the rump
  9. @richbs i need a torch
  10. @heideland tough life!
  11. @portableant am thinking I've been a bit thick for not just grabbing XAMPP as I've done before, for the basics. Hey ho.
  12. @heideland wow! Makes up somewhat for the lack of Mull cheddar!
  13. @heideland a bit too much information! Oh, you said "pie". Sorry. Have fun :-)
  14. @portableant see that doesn't even make sense to me! Wassat exactly?
  15. Installing PHP, MySQL, MediaWiki on new laptop. Feeling a right dunce coz it's basic but all so unfamiliar coz I'm normally an M$ slave
  16. http://bit.ly/8CD6Vw senacot?
  17. #castoffs starting. I'm off. Ciao ragazzi
  18. @janetedavis guess that covers it. Audience segmentation generally project-specific, I suppose
  19. @heideland Mull cheddar, hmm, maybe. Shall I send u a slice? Or grate it and knit something? ;-)
  20. @janetedavis @tag @m1ke_ellis the answer is clearly to call them all "general public". Or perhaps "adults". Cover kids too and yr done
